At Burton Center, we serve individuals with intellectual disabilities. Our services are always personalized to the unique needs of the individual.
Burton Center provides a range of services that are designed to help those with intellectual disabilities including day services, case management, employment services, residential, and family support.
Intellectual disability is defined as below average intellectual functioning (a valid IQ of approximately 70 or below). The individual shows coexisting deficits in functioning in at least two of the following areas:
- Home Living
- Social Skills
- Using Community Resources
- Functional Academic Skills
- Interpersonal Skills
Onset of the above conditions must have occurred before the individual turned 22 years of age.
