Compliance Assistant
Ensure agency compliance by assisting to coordinate the Licensing Compliance and Compliance/ Risk Management programs. Serve as the Supervisor for the agency Respite Sitters. High School Diploma with 3 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and special needs. 3-5 years supervisory experience. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in intellectual disabilities and special needs. Knowledge of SCDDSN standards, Licensing Compliance, Compliance/ Risk Management and Therap. Valid SC driver’s license. Knowledge and experience with ICF/ ID Regulations and SCDDSN Standards. Familiar with standards of treatment and care of individuals with intellectual disabilities and special needs. Must possess excellent coordination, written & oral communication skills. Typing & computer skills. Supervisory Skills.
Training and Development Specialist
Plans, develops, implements, evaluates, and directs all training including, but not limited to, mandatory in-service, orientation, and development for Burton Center staff. Assess training needs and develop programs as necessary. Assist with new employee intake and provide needed assistance for the Human Resources Department. Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or human services related field is preferred OR any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Preferred minimum (3) years’ experience in either staff development, training, or education. Proficiency in Microsoft office; Word, Excel, and Power Point. Experience with learning management systems is preferred. HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus.

Burton ICF: LPN
Full Time – Full Time, 6:30am to 7:00pm various weekdays, 6;30 am to 7:00pm EOW. Will provide nursing care to consumers. The LPN will be delegated the responsibility by the Operations Manager in areas of health maintenance, prevention of illness and accidents and the administration of medication to individuals. The LPN will have authority in the area of nursing care and will function under the Operations Manager.
Lexington Day Program: Trainer/Driver – First Shift
Full-time – 7:45 am to 3:45 pm Monday – Friday. Will provide direct care to workshop consumers. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds. (3 openings.)
Hendrix Street/Bruton Smith ICF: LPN
Full-time – Tuesday and Thursday 6:00am to 6:00pm, Wednesday and Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm, on call and as needed on weekends. Will provide nursing care to consumers following DDSN, DHEC and Burton Center policies and procedures.
Saluda Day Program: Trainer/Driver – Part-time
